Poetry

Spacebound

I caught a train last night, on a journey to my thoughts

I arrived in outer mind space

To find my emotions lying like dead weights on life boats

On the turbulent waves

I saw the reflections of my days

The picture was not pefect

The words spoken in a different dialect

I wanted to walk on water

To be my own saviour

But the sun would not light up my way

And I did not have the heart to pray

As I sunk to the bottom of the depths

I contemplated my last breath

And arrived in inner mind space

Where I found that my emotions were gone without a trace
